dosti hoti hai badi khaas...
na hoti hai koi seema 
na hoti hai koi sharat...
dil se dil ke jude hote hain taar
aur bas pyaar ki chadhi hoti hai parat...
ye hota hai anokha sa ehsaas...

jaati ka bhed bhav na hota ismein
na hi umar ka padta hai asar...
ye to bache aur buzurg mein bhi ho sakti hai
agar wo karte hai ek dusre ki fikar...
ye jaat paat aur bda chota sab baatein hai bakwaas...
in sabse upar dosti hoti hai badi khaas...

ladte hain dost se haq samjhkar apna...
fir agle hi din bhul jaate hain sab kuch jaise ho koi beeti raat ka sapna...
kabhi ruthna to kabhi manana to kabhi mazak udte hain bade...
par agar aa jaaye musibat dost pe koi to saath ho jaate hain sab khade...
ye anmol rishta hota hai sabse hatkar aur bindass...
dosti hoti hai yaaron badi khaas...

kal hum shayad bade ho jaayenge aur kho jaayenge apni zindagi mein...
par fir shayad wo pal yaad aayein jo humne bitaye the un yaaron ki bandagi mein...
sach kehta hun yaaron ankhon mein ansun aur chehre pe muskaan aa jaayegi...
kuch waqt ke liye zindagi un yaadon mein tham jaayegi...
hain dost ya nahi hain saath par rahenge hamesha wo banke dil ki dhadkan aur saans...
